M/s. R. M. Mohite and Company finds its roots in the year 1966. This company is the creation of a dedicated man, fighting and defeating all odds and bringing into reality his dreams. He is a self made man who strongly propagates the principles of honesty, hard-work and sincerity.The founder and Chairman Mr. Ramchandra M. Mohite beginning was with the PWD department. He undertook numerous projects at Kolhapur district level. His leap was in the year 1976 when he began undertaking projects with the Maharashtra Irrigation Department. The company has not looked back since then and has made a landmark in the field of civil construction. The company specializes in the construction of Large Earthen dams with all its components, Bridges, Roads and Canals. The Mohite Group does not need any introduction in the State Irrigation Department having earned a reputation in excellence and good will at all levels.

Shri Shivaji Mohite

Shivaji R. Mohite, presides over as the Managing Director of the R.M. Mohite Industries Ltd. His electrifying presence and “never pause attitude” keeps the group on the move. He has a very dedicated, focused, straight forward and honest approach which instantly engulfs all who come in contact with him.

He holds a Bachelors degree in commerce and has an experience of two decades in the field of civil construction. His proficiency in dam construction and related work has fetched him an “Award for Quality and Excellence” by the Maharashtra State Government. It is for the Maximum Quality work done in a record time of 3 years for the Dhom Balkavadi Irrigation Dam in the Satara District (2002). Having scaled heights in the construction he is now focused his attention to the Group’s sister concerns. Shivaji R. Mohite’s vision and foresight has promoted the group to diversify into varied fields like Hydro-power, Energy and Mining.

Monika S. Mohite, holds a Masters degree in English Literature and Post Graduate in Computers. She occupies the office as Joint Managing Director of the R.M. Mohite Industries Ltd. She overlooks the day to day business of the group and co-ordinates the varied fields. Her heart lies with the Agricultural branch of the group. The group owns a flaunting 100 acres of agricultural land under cultivation.

Mr. Abhay S. Bhide is the Chief Executive Officer at R M Mohite Textiles. He holds B.tech from DKTE Institute Ichalakaranji. He has been honoured with “Pride of the year 2003” Award by DKTE Institute. He has a vast and varied experience of 15 years of the Textile Industry. He has undergone training at Rieter Switzerland and Uster, USA. His innovative approach has maximized the productivity of the Mill as it functions under his capable overview.

Mr. Sanjay D. Patil is Chancellor of D.Y. Patil Deemed University, Kolhapur. The D.Y. Patil Education Group is a leading synonym to knowledge in India. The group runs numerous education colleges, schools and training institutes in Kolhapur, Pune and Mumbai.

Mr. Vijay M. Navandhar is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He was ranked 9th all over India in the ICAI Examination. He also holds a LLB Degree with a Gold Medal honors from the Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

Mr. Dhiraj S. Patil is proprietor of D.S. Patil Engineers and Contractors based in Kolhapur. The firm specializes in varied construction and earth-moving activities. The group is well known name in the construction field in Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Mr. Rajendra P. Kinkar is a Commerce graduate and has done LLB special. He has functioned as Vice-president and General Secretary of Kolhapur Bar Association. He is on the Directorial body of Mahalakshmi Co-Operative Bank, Kolhapur and Maharashtra State Co-Operative Bank Association, Mumbai. He is also presiding over as the President of Convincing Practitioners Advocates Association, Kolhapur.
